Notes on the construction site
The single-family villa built in Andonno extends over two levels. The total area is 220 square metres and is surrounded by 600 square metres of private green space. It rests on a fully insulated foundation made of foam glass, and the masonry consists of lightweight bricks with guaranteed thermal performance, which also serve as infill and thermal insulation.
The roof is supported by glulam beams and insulated with wood fibre boards. Indoor comfort is optimal, as the technical systems installed are limited to a compact heat pump unit for integrated underfloor and air heating, hot water generation and ventilation with heat recovery. Energy is generated from renewable sources by a photovoltaic system. In summer, the glazing is protected by motorised sunshades.
